Yesterday we were driving in the car and this is the conversation Eli and I had.
Eli - "Mom, I pooped."
Me - "You did?!?!"
Eli - "No, I didn't. April Fools. I tricked you."
I hadn't talked to him about April Fools at all or done any tricks on him. He came up with this all by himself. I guess they talked about April Fools Day at preschool on Monday. It is amazing how much kids understand and remember.
