Auntie Emy's Wedding

My sister, Emilee, got married yesterday. It was such a great day. The weather was beautiful and everything went great. We are so excited for her and Ben. They are great for each other and we are happy to have Ben in the family. Here are some pictures of the occasion.

Our family

Eli with his cousin Joel. They are partners in trouble. Eli tripped outside the night before and got the big scrape on his head.

Kroeber boys trying to be still for the picture.

This is the best picture that I got of Emilee and Ben.

First Day of School

Eli started preschool again this week. Wednesday was his first day. He had a lot of fun. He missed the second day because of Auntie Emy's wedding but he will go back next week.

New Pictures

I brought the boys to get their pictures taken today. I have wanted to get them done since May and just now did it. Lame I know. They were supposed to be Isaac's 18 month photos and now he's 21 months old. I will still count them as Eli's 4 year old pictures. Even though he has been 4 for 3 months he hasn't changed much. If you click on the picture it will get bigger so you can see it better for those who are interested.

This one is my favorite. It shows both of them with probably their best smiles.

I know I am pretty biased but these are some pretty cute kids.

Remember that one time...?

So I saw this on some other blogs and thought it was a good idea. Here is a fun little game...Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! If you want to you can re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

Weekend Update

Here is a short synapses of our weekend. Chris's grandfather and his wife are visiting from Florida this week. He hasn't ever been out here before and most of Chris's family hasn't seen him since about 1988. It has been really good to get to know him a little bit better.

Isaac playing at Grandma's house.

Eli and his cousin David also playing at Grandma's house.

4 generations of Hall Kroebers. Christopher, Kenneth, Elijah and Donald. (They all have the same middle and last name.)

Chris's Grandpa is a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force. They got some pictures in their uniforms and had to get one of Grandpa saluting Chris.

He is really proud of Chris and his service. Grandpa looks so cute in his uniform. I love it.

Funny things

Here are a few funny things Eli has said lately.

The other day we were driving down the road and there was a utility truck parked on the side of the road as well as a few signs saying they were working. There weren't any people there though. As we drove by the "Utility Work Ahead" sign Eli said "It should say utility not work ahead." I asked him why and he said "Becasue no one is working". I had to laugh.

Then today we had my niece Kaitlyn with us in the car. Eli chose to watch the movie "Cars" when we got home since Kaitlyn chose the movie the last time she was here. Kaitlyn said, "I don't want to watch 'Cars', I've seen that at Janice's a hundred times." So Eli said, "Well you can watch it at our house and see it one hundred and one times."

Fun times with kids.

More Summer Fun

Here are a few pictures from our recent trip to the water park. There is a slide in the kiddie pool that both boys LOVE. Isaac usually has to go down with me but this time my sister and her husband were with us so one of them brought him to the top and I could catch him at the bottom. He loved it even more going by himself. He is such a crazy kid. Eli is a water maniac. He has no fear at all. He is starting to try to swim under water and really loves everything having to do with it. I think I need to get him in some swimming lessons.
